The “Farm Work in New Zealand” programme is perfect for young people who have a sense of adventure. We guarantee you a paid farm job in New Zealand.

What does the "Farm Work in New Zealand" programme involve?


You will work on a farm to help the farmers with their everyday tasks. You will take part in all the tasks which make up a farm (putting up fences, shearing the sheep, cleaning the stalls, harvest, cooking…).
You will discover breath-taking landscapes, practise your English every day and make your CV stand out by adding to it an extraordinary experience.

  • Duration : 3 to 12 months
  • Starting dates : all year round
  • A paid job on many differnt types of farm: equestrian farms, cattle farms, fruit farms, agricultural farms
  • A guaranteed job before you leave – to suit your personality, experiences and skills
  • Diverse and varied tasks from childcare to shearing sheep
  • A paid job of up to $300 NZD per week (about €190 per week)
  • Accommodation and meals provided on the farm with other young employees from all over the world
  • 2 days off each week
  • Between 5 and 20 days paid-leave to enable you to travel
  • A complimentary “Welcome Pack” when you arrive (SIM card, opening a bank account…)
  • A helpline which is available 24 hours a day, and check-ups with our team all throughout your trip to ensure everything is running smoothly

Conditions de participation au programme


  • You must be between 18 and 30 years old
  • You must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and work hard
  • You must be responsible and committed to your work
  • You must be a nature-lover and be capable of adjusting to a rural lifestyle
  • You must be fit and healthy
  • You must be a non-smoker
  • You must have a good level of English (level B1)
  • You must have a driving license
  • You must have a clear criminal record
  • You must be available to do a placement lasting from 3 to 12 months
  • You must have had at least two experiences of work, these do not necessarily have to be linked to farming

Conditions for participating in the programme


  • Subscription fee: €150
    PLEASE NOTE:
     The payment is not made until you have had your interview in English with the head of the programme at our agency.
  • Placement fee: €300
    PLEASE NOTE:
     The payment is not until your place on the programme and your departure date have been confirmed by our partner.
  • Farm Work programme fee (Farmstay)

SUPPORT PACKAGE: only for people who are qualified or experienced in agricultural work
$300 NZD – placements shorter than 6 months (about €170)
$360 NZD – placements longer than 6 months (about €200)

PREMIUM PACKAGE: for people without farming qualifications
$815 NZD – placements shorter than 6 months (about €455)
$875 NZD – placements longer than 6 months (about €470)
This package includes 2 orientation days with farm accommodation to receive basic training, as well as an airport transfer to your host farm.

For both packages: the aforementioned fees include our assistance in the visa application process, booking flights and the job search, a bank account, a SIM card and a “Welcome Pack”.

    Working Holiday Visa (about €105)
    Flights (about €1300)
    Health/hospitalisation/repatriation insurance (about €40 per month)
    Airport transfer costs (only for the Support package)

Application steps


1. Sign-up on our website to receive a registration form. Click here to sign-up.

2. Fill in your dossier to complete your registration. It’s best to complete your dossier as early as possible (about 3 months in advance).

3. We arrange an interview in English with you via Skype or on our premises.

4. We submit your dossier to our partner in New Zealand.

5. Confirmation of your place on the programme.

6. Get your visa and insurance and book your flights.

7. Make the most of your adventure on a Kiwi farm.

8. Come back more mature and with lots of unforgettable memories.
